Improving the provision of genetic and genomic resources
Objectives:
(1) To extend the availability of mutant resources and develop protocols for genotyping and phenotyping in four selected marine model systems;
(2) To improve access to molecular resources such as genomic and cDNA libraries, microarrays and genetic markers;
(3) To improve the quality of genome sequences by initiating a BAC minimum tiling path pilot project.
